Day 1
Memphis Tours representative will meet & assist you at Cairo International Airport, and handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area & customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2
Breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, as well as the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Then visit the Egyptian Museum with its splendid pharaonic artifacts. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3
Travel by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Bahariya Oasis. Enjoy a tour around the old village of the oasis and see the groves of palms and fruit trees. Then take a trip to ruin on a hill, 'the English House' at sunset and enjoy the panoramic view. In the evening, visit the village and shops. Overnight at Bahariya.
Day 4
Drive through the Great Sand Sea to Siwa Oasis. Overnight in Siwa.
Day 5
Visit the old fortified town of Siwa, then bath in the bubbling pool, Cleopatra's Bath. See the ancient tombs in the Mountain of the Dead and the oracle temple that Alexander the Great consulted also called Temple of Amun. Travel by road to the bay of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean Coast with its long beach of soft white sands and its clear, calm waters. Overnight in Marsa Matrouh.
Day 6
Afterbreakfast, move to Alamein approximately 180 km far from Marsa Matouh, the site of a great battle during WW II, and visit the WW II Museum and Cemetery. Drive on to Alexandria and overnight.
Day 7
Sightseeing tour in Alexandria to discover Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria's ancient lighthouse. See the grand Montazah Palace, which combines Turkish and Florentine architectural styles, then move on to the new and much acclaimed Alexandria Library. Also visit the Roman cemetery cut out of the rock, the Catacombs. Return to Cairo and overnight.
Day 8
Breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure.
